Sinopsis: En un pueblo tunecino, Sofiane contraerá matrimonio con Halima. Él sigue adelante con la boda solo para aparentar delante de su familia a pesar de que ama profundamente a su pareja Fouad. Cuando fouad aparece inesperadamente en el festejo, Sofiane intenta hacer que sus padres lo acepten como realmente es. Contra todo pronóstico, la ceremonia continúa su curso imponiéndose así la voluntad de la sociedad tunecina de privar libertades.

 

Synopsis: In a village in the Tunisian countryside, Sofiane is getting married to Halima. Sofiane is going along with the wedding for the sake of appearances and his family, despite his profound love for his partner Fouad. When Fouad turns up unexpectedly at the festivities, Sofiane tries to get to his parents to accept him for what he truly is. Against all hope to the contrary, the ceremony follows its course, thereby imposing the will of a liberty-deprived Tunisian society.
